Outdoor Living Spaces
I think we all dream of having our backyards look like this. I know I do! An outdoor living space right off a page from the Pottery Barn catalog, complete with lovely chaise loungers, flowers galore and overflowing accessories. Sadly, mine’s not quite yet there. I’m working on it though and this weekend have some flower planting and accessory shopping to do to help complete the look. Let’s hear it for a kick-off into summer with a long weekend!
I really love the look of a great chaise lounge chair by the pool. Ours were inexpensive and might even be in need of replacement after not bringing them in all winter. What were we thinking? But more than ever, I’m determined to keep up the outdoor living decor progress so we can relax poolside all summer long. The furniture style often sets the vibe. And there are so many great ones to choose from. Here are three very distinct styles and I love them all. While I think our house tends to be more traditional, I have to say the mid-century modern are my hands down favorite and also happen to be the least expensive! Which ones do you like? Is anyone else tackling outdoor spaces to start off the summer? And if you are working on a deck space, check out this deck makeover of ours from a few years back.

I just noticed the wheels on the lounge chairs. I hate it when metal lounge chairs are dragged and make that screechy noise across the cement. I like wicker chairs too. They just don’t seem to last long.
