DIY Thanksgiving Wall Decor
I love a quick and easy DIY project. I mean what busy mama doesn’t? Speed is the name of the game sometimes. This Thanksgiving wall decor hanging was tackled in the span of one toddler nap. Score! The pictures honestly do not do it enough justice. The hanging is a series of frames that is pretty long and while I have the absolute perfect spot for it in a hallway, I couldn’t get back far enough to take a perfect photo. Take my word for it, it’s completely adorable!
The inspiration for this project came from the white frames at Cost Plus World Market. I took one look and knew they would be perfect to use for a wall hanging that can easily swap out themes throughout the year.
For Thanksgiving I decided I wanted to do a cute saying by using stamps on patterned craft paper. After deciding on “Eat, Turkey, Give, Thanks,” I selected the different sheets of craft paper to use. I bought a book of several hundred sheets of craft paper from a craft store and it comes in handy all the time. It is definitely worth making sure that you have a few of these in your craft supplies. I then stamped the words out using just a set of letter stamps and a black ink pad. Once the sheets were dry, I simply cut each sheet to fit the frame size.
Voila! Instant Thanksgiving decor that brings a smile to my face each time I walk by. And the Cost Plus World Market frames are a great antique white. I can already envision using them for both a holiday and a Valentine’s day project.
What do you think? How else would you use these frames?

Cute holiday DIY! I like that you can change the cards whenever you choose to match themes and holidays. 🙂
Multi-purpose decor is the best kind! 🙂
I love this! It’s great because it’s easily customizable for seasons, etc. But I think I especially love the rustic/nautical look to them! I envision some beachy family pics, maybe I’d even adorn the frames with a seashell or a starfish! The possibilities are endless! Great job, Megan!
