Styling A Fringed Blanket Cape

Who’s ready to keep warm and still look adorbs?! This fringed blanket cape is a great way to stay warm when temps get chilly and I love a blanket cape like this for so many reasons. In both the fall and spring in Maryland, they are great for casual weekend wear that has a chic boho vibe. We’ve also been having that nice sunny day here and there in the 60’s and I get so excited to take off my heavy coat and leave the house looking cozy chic. For Kristin in Florida, she can wear a fringed blanket cape like this one from Garnet Hill through her entire winter. And yes, I’m totally jealous of her never having to really bust out the gloves!

Fringed Blanket Cape I also work from home a lot. My office is just off the main part of the house and always feels several degrees colder. The cashmere and wool blend is so soft and great for keeping warm while feeling pulled together when people come over. My house often feels like Grand Central Station so even when I work from home I get fully dressed.

Fringed Blanket CapeStyling this soft neutral was a cinch. I love my Perfect White Tee by our friend Carly, and it truly is perfect! It’s wonderful for layering looks like this, just the right length and neckline.

Fringed Blanket Cape from BehindAnd yes I’m still wearing my H&M skinny’s. They are pretty long so they can get rolled up or tucked into boots. And enough stretch to be comfortable all day.

layered silver necklacesFrom my winter Fab Fit Fun box, I am digging this layered Gorjana necklace. I paired it with my Stella and Dot arrow that I’ve had for ages and the sweet delicate layers are just right with the heavier weight of a fringed blanket cape. Lately I’ve had a hard time finding accessories that I am just all about so I was excited that this necklace was a winner!

Brown booties with shearlingNow let’s talk shoes. Or rather booties. We know I have a love for booties and these shearling wedge booties from Lucky Brand are the bees knees (keeping it G rated here folks). They even have shearling inside so they are SOOOOO soft. I bought them last spring on clearance so sadly there are no longer available. However these booties are a similar look from Lucky to get the same vibe.

Boots TwoI’m just loving running around town feeling like I’m wearing my favorite blanket with this fringed blanket cape from Garnet Hill while still looking cute! What do you think of the look?
