And what better time to share it then during Moms Do Fall Fashion week? Hopefully you’ve been joining us all week long as we’ve featured some favorite fall looks of our own and some fabulous bloggers like today’s partner, Ashley of Messy Beautiful Blog who’ s focusing on the poncho today. Make sure you pay her a visit! She just so happens to be wearing plaid too…It’s a plaid kinda day, which is always a good day in my book!

I chose to style my plaid shirt with jeans and mocs again, but this time I went with CAbi skinnies and my beloved Minnetonka Thunderbird moccasins! A wood bead necklace from Talbots finished off the look. It’s comfy…It’s cozy…And pretty darn cute right? It’s a perfect weekend warrior kind of outfit. I know I’m not the only mama who’s weekend is filled with t’ball games, family functions and errands galore!

  1. I do love wearing plaid, but it has to be comfortable! I also love your adorable moccasins. Not everyone can pull that off, but you certainly can! I also am a huge CAbi fan. They make some awesome clothes. Great fall wardrobe!

  2. For whatever reason I’ve never been a huge fan of patterns on my shirts. Skits, scarves, even patterned dresses are fine, but I have a block when it comes to patterned tops. There’s nothing quite so classic as a plaid skirt, though!

  3. I have a gorgeous burgundy and black plaid/ tartan skirt and it is so comfortable. I used to wear plaid shirts when I was younger but not so much now. It would be great layered under a trench and your necklace is so unusual I love it!
