We love fall…I mean we absolutely looooooove fall. And I’m sure we’re not alone right? The pumpkins…the leaves…the FOOTBALL. Yeah, football is definitely one of our favorite things about this season…namely college football. We both went to the University of Florida and us Gator girls love nothing more than throwing on our colors and cheering our boys to victory. And this season we’ve had a lot to cheer about. Our team is going to the SEC championship game for the first time since 2009…so, yeah, we’re kinda PUMPED!
That means every weekend from now until December will be dedicated to football. And that also means that we’ll be serving up some mighty tasty food. My mom always laid out a tasty spread when we were watching games growing up and the tradition has carried on with me. Whether we’re tailgating or watching at home, you can count the fact that I’ll be whipping up some delicious goodies on any given game day.
Today we’re sharing a super easy dessert recipe that would be perfect to make for your favorite football fans! Brownies anyone?
1 box of Ghirardelli dark chocolate brownie mix (but really any brownie mix works)
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 can of pumpkin puree
Prepare the brownie mix according to its directions, then add the whole can of pumpkin. Add mix to lightly greased glass rectangular pan. Bake at the temperature and for the duration that the brownie mix’s instructions specify.
