Strawberry Rum Milkshake
Since this week seems to be focused on little ways to make Valentine’s Day, or truly any day, a little more special, it seems like the perfect time to share our Strawberry Rum Milkshake recipe. When Kristin was here visiting last week we made these and they were SOOOO good. We knew we just had to share them with you guys. We even made a little video and if you ever wondered what happens when we get together and stay up late talking, it’s worth the watch. By the end we are more than a little giggly!
These shakes are so delicious and fun. While of course they seem like a perfect treat for Valentine’s Day next weekend, they would also be great all year long. I’m seeing a date night in complete with a couple of tasty boozy shakes in our near future! The combination of ice cream and rum just instantly made me crave Summer…and since that’s several months away, we’ll make do with these for now. Haha!
Strawberry Rum Milkshake
(Serves 2 small to medium sized portions.)
4 Scoops of Strawberry Ice Cream
1/3 cup Milk
3 Tblsp Rum
Whip Cream
Strawberries for garnish
Directions: In blender combine ice cream, milk and rum. Blend until smooth. Pour into glass and top with whip cream. Garnish with strawberry if desired. Enjoy!
