How to Make a Crumble Topping

In a small bowl, combine the sugar, brown sugar, and flour until they’re combined.

Mix in the melted butter until it’s combined too and clumping together to form the crumble.

How to Make Apple Bread

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9×5 loaf pan with baking spray.

In a large bowl, whisk together the baking powder, flour, cinnamon and salt.

In a different large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar and melted butter until combined.

Add the vanilla and mix and whisk until well combined.

Add the two mixtures together and stir until just combined. Don’t over stir.

Next, fold in the chopped apples.

Pour the batter into the loaf pan.

Sprinkle the crumb topping on the batter, pressing it lightly into the batter.

Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean.

Tips for Baking the Best Apple Bread

Allow the bread to cool completely in your loaf pan, before you cut and remove it, otherwise it will stick to the pain and not come out in a nice, clean loaf.

How to Serve Apple Bread

Personally, I love to spread a little butter on a warm slice and enjoy it that way, but it would be delicious served a la mode with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

So, do you know who you’re going to make the best apple bread recipe around for? My next door neighbor has one coming her way! Shhhh, don’t tell!
