I think with it being nearly October now, we can officially say that it is apple season. In most areas now is the best time to partake in one of my favorite fall activities, apple picking. And if you are lucky enough to have a local orchard to head to, get ready to make the best apple bread recipe around with your spoils!

Apple Crumble Bread Ingredients
flour
baking powder
kosher salt
ground cinnamon
unsalted sweet cream butter, melted
sugar
eggs
whole milk
pure vanilla
granny smith apples
brown sugar
flour
How to Make a Crumble Topping
In a small bowl, combine the sugar, brown sugar, and flour until they’re combined.
Mix in the melted butter until it’s combined too and clumping together to form the crumble.
How to Make Apple Bread
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9×5 loaf pan with baking spray.
In a large bowl, whisk together the baking powder, flour, cinnamon and salt.
In a different large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar and melted butter until combined.
Add the vanilla and mix and whisk until well combined.
Add the two mixtures together and stir until just combined. Don’t over stir.
Next, fold in the chopped apples.
Pour the batter into the loaf pan.
Sprinkle the crumb topping on the batter, pressing it lightly into the batter.
Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean.
Tips for Baking the Best Apple Bread
Allow the bread to cool completely in your loaf pan, before you cut and remove it, otherwise it will stick to the pain and not come out in a nice, clean loaf.
How to Serve Apple Bread
Personally, I love to spread a little butter on a warm slice and enjoy it that way, but it would be delicious served a la mode with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
