Who else lives for a crisp, fall day? You know, the kind of day where you can literally feel fall in the air. I may love my summers, but there is something so magical about the fall. From the excitement of finally being able to bring out my fall outfits, to the pumpkin patch visits and the countless fall festivities to come, I’m officially here for this season!
Of course, my love affair with fall includes all things apple flavored too! Sure, I’m all about pumpkin recipes, but I have been whipping up plenty of apple recipes lately too! I have even planned a date to take the kids apple picking soon, so you will probably see a whole lot more apple recipes coming at you in the near future, haha. It may be all apple for a while around here, so go easy on me. I can’t help myself, especially when I have fresh from the orchard ingredients!
This caramel apple dip recipe, for instance, makes a great apple treat or apple snack. And it is totally sweet enough that you could pass it off as dessert to your family. Bwah! Apple Dip Recipe
3/4 cup brown sugar
8oz package of cream cheese (You can use Neufchatel cheese as it has less fat) – let sit to room temperature
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 caramel topping
Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and stir until well combined.
Refrigerate for at least 5 hours.
Serve with sliced apples and enjoy!
