Cranberry Margarita Recipe

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for this year! And what better way to really enjoy the extra long holiday weekend than to whip up a batch of Cranberry Margarita cocktails and relax with family and friend? Whether that quality time involves telling stories of the past year or playing board games (we played Twister!) this weekend is all about family and kicking off the holiday season.

Making this Cranberry Margarita recipe would be a fun way to use up any leftover cranberries laying around the house and this festive cocktail pairs great with leftover turkey sandwiches too. Yum! However you decide to enjoy them we hope you will love them as much as we do!

Serves 3-4

1 ½ cups cranberry juice
¾ cup lime juice (fresh is best)
⅔ cup tequila
½ cup Triple Sec (or other orange-flavored liqueur)
For garnish if desired: lime wedges, cranberries, and sugar to rim glass

To Rim Glasses: Take a lime wedge and rub along the rim of the glass. Pour some sugar on a small plate. Dip rim of glass onto plate and the sugar will stick to make it a pretty sugar rimmed glass. Do this prior to pouring the margaritas.

Combine all of the ingredients into a pitcher and stir until blended. Fill glasses with ice. Pour cranberry margaritas into glasses. Top with a lime wedge and several cranberries for garnish.

I love myself a good margarita! I don’t drink too much, but this seems lovely and perfect for the holidays. I will add this to my cocktail recipe collection. I’m sure our guests will love it!
