Easter Candy Snack Mix, Great for Leftovers
Who out there still has Easter Candy leftover from the big day? I know this girl does and I’m excited to share the adorable Easter candy snack mix. It’s such a cute way to use up some of that candy.
Somehow I always overdo it in the Easter candy category. I try not to go too crazy but so much of it is both cute and delicious. I mean bunnies and pastel shades of chocolate. Umm yes please! I always end up buying more candy than I’m using and then the kids get treats from just about everyone else and before you know it, it’s overload.
This year, I kept some of the candy behind and then recently realized I needed to use it up. This snack mix that uses candy is the perfect solution! It’s an easy and delicious way to create a movie night treat, a play date snack or a fun surprise in a lunch. The salty sweet combination is just right.
And while this Easter candy snack mix could be served in a big bowl or regular snack bags, to make it feel even more special, I just happened to find these cute sweet treat paper pouches in the Target dollar spot. Because lets face it, the Target dollar spot has just about everything and gets me every time!
Just serving up your leftover candy in this fresh snack mix will delight and make snack time special. Of course it can also be used before Easter for any events such as a class party. I love volunteering to bring something when I know it’s going to be both this adorable and this easy.
For now though, I’ll be using up our leftover candy in this mix since I can’t bear to let even one chocolate egg go to waste. Not on my watch!
