Travel Smarter with Wyndham Vacation Rentals

Anyone who has traveled with a young family knows how challenging it can be to transport all of the must pack items that seem to always end up including everything but the kitchen sink. This is especially true if you’re traveling with a baby or toddler. In addition to their clothes and toys, space hogging gear is often a travel necessity too. But where do you put it all once you get to the hotel room? Even if you have a suite, you won’t have as much space as you would if you were staying in a house or apartment.
Enter Wyndham Vacation Rentals. Have you heard of vacation rentals? July just so happens to be National Vacation Rental Month, so now is a perfect time to give you the skinny on this smarter way to travel. Not only do you get more room with vacation rentals, but you often save money, while having all the amenities of home.
You can shop for fresh, local ingredients and prepare meals for your family in their fully equipped kitchens, for instance. I quite enjoy eating out some, but you definitely can’t eat as healthy at restaurants as you can when you control the ingredients. So, being able to have the option to cook for my family is so important to me. And I don’t know about your kids, but mine live for snacks, so having a kitchen that I can stock with their favorites is clutch. Vacation rentals also usually have in-unit washers and dryers. That means you can pack less and cut down on your luggage. I used to over pack to accommodate for the stains that end up on my kids’ clothes without fail, but no more!
My family has a vacation home in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and we’ve gotten so used to the home-like atmosphere that vacation rentals like Wyndham Vacation Rentals will be our first choice when traveling elsewhere from here on out. After a full day of exploring, it’s such a nice feeling to be able to come home, relax, pop some popcorn and watch a movie. When we go on vacation, we like to fit in as many fun experiences into our trip as possible and that usually makes for very tired kiddos at the end of the day. Whether we’re hiking, picking berries or visiting a local petting farm, we vacation HARD!
Seeing them all snuggly in their jammies on the couch, munching on their popcorn each night is priceless. That wouldn’t happen in a regular old hotel room. Just sayin’. And, on a side note, while Wyndham Vacation Rentals do feel like home, some of the properties come with housekeeping services. Wouldn’t it be great not to have to clean on vacation? Haha!
Even before we started vacationing in the mountains, I remember when my extended family would all come together and rent a place on the beach. Each family unit would tackle cooking a meal and helping with the laundry. It brought about such a feeling of togetherness that even I, at a young age, noticed. I love that my sister and I are continuing on the tradition with our own little families! I can’t wait to plan our next trip! Luckily, Wyndham Vacation Rentals has properties in some pretty fabulous places, including the Charleston Islands which has been on my bucket list forever!
So, are you thinking about taking a family vacation soon lovelies? This summer you could save up to 35% at WyndhamVacationRentals.com. Where would YOU like to go?

I have to agree, nothing beats renting a house while on vacation. The benefits far outweigh the cost.
