How to Wear Dresses with Booties

I’m a big believer in investing in clothes, shoes and accessories that you really love. If your eye is drawn to something time and time again, you’re most likely going to get a lot of wear out of it. And if the cost per wear ratio comes out in your favor, it’s worth the investment. That’s how I feel about my Rag & Bone Newberry boots. I’ve been eying them up for a while now and finally decided to take the plunge this season. As soon as I put them on I knew I had made the right decision. Not only are they insanely comfortable, but they go with like EVERYTHING. That includes dresses…which is what we’re going to be talking about today for Moms Do Fall Fashion…specifically how to wear dresses with booties. And we’re thrilled that Heather from My Life Well Loved is joining us for the fun too!

I know some people wonder how to wear dresses with booties and the answer is very easily! The key is picking up a pair of booties that are dressy enough to wear with both dresses and denim. Leather booties with a heel look just fabulous with floaty frocks and equally as killer with skinnies. The same goes for leggings! You may remember when I wore my Newberry booties with leather look leggings here. The sky really is the limit with a great pair of booties and for today’s featured look I paired mine with a fun, printed dress, a few layered necklaces and my go-to turquoise ring. Dressing up doesn’t get much easier than this people!
