Remember the darling burlap Halloween wreath that I posted about last week? Well, it’s been very popular on Pinterest and after seeing it over and over and over and over again…it got me to thinking that I should probably get off my tush and attempt to make my own wreath like I’m always saying I want to. Well, my mama beat me to the punch. She threw this darling Halloween wreath together for me in no time flat the other day and she used some super budget friendly materials that she snagged at Michaels. I am, admittedly, not crafting on the regular over here, but mom definitely does and Michaels is one of her favorite spots to pick up this and that to help make up her creations! I’m forever telling her that she should sell her wreaths. I’ll have to share her really intricate wreaths with you sometime. They’re swoon worthy for sure!
Easy DIY Halloween Wreath
So, let’s talk about how she made the sweet little Halloween wreath that is adorning my front door for the season. She simply took a plain, unadorned black and metallic wreath and then made a bow with some darling polka dot ribbon that she attached to the wreath. Next she added a few accents like a witch’s hat and spiders. It was easy as pie, inexpensive and looks just adorable on our front door!
So, what have you made lately lovelies? Have you been bitten by the DIY bug too? I blame Pinterest. How about you? Bwah! Why not try your hand at making your own seasonal wreath? Halloween is as good a time as any to start! Perhaps I’ll finally make my own when the holidays roll around. Haha!
