Staying On Track With Healthy Choice Power Bowls

Here’s a little secret that may surprise you. I am a lover of the New Year. Sure I adore the holiday season, but my true love is starting a fresh year full of reflection and goals. I actually enjoy putting the decorations away and cleaning house. Don’t even get me started on the promise of a fresh journal. And after a holiday season filled with WAY too many holiday sweets, it’s always the perfect time to get back to eating healthy and taking care of myself.
Of course with a crazy schedule, two kids, and a pile of work to catch up on, eating healthy can feel daunting. It’s just too easy to grab a handful of kid snacks while at my laptop. And while I love creating healthy meals, the chopping and preparing of several meals a day can cut into the few precious minutes I have for myself to workout, meditate or even just catch up with my boys. So I whole-heartedly welcome any addition to my routine that helps me keep my healthy eating goals without sacrificing other areas.
Healthy Choice Power Bowls
Trying the Healthy Choice Power Bowls was a welcome delight. All of the Power Bowls were created to provide a well-balanced meal of leafy greens, proteins, ancient grains and steel cut oats. It’s a great way to quickly feed your body the nutritious food it really needs. Even when you are crazy busy!
The serving bowls are even made from a plant-based fiber that is recyclable. Isn’t it nice to know you aren’t harming the environment with packaging?!
Morning Bowl
While there are four different morning bowls, I tried the Turkey Sausage & Egg White Scramble. It included turkey sausage with egg whites and vegetables served on top of steel cut oats, farro, buckwheat and red quinoa with a creamy avocado sauce. How delicious does that sound!?
The morning bowl was a great way to have a quick protein breakfast before heading to the gym. Just pop it into the microwave and you are good to go. It was really tasty and nice to fuel my body before a workout!
Power Bowl
Next up I tried the Mango Edamame veggie bowl. This vegetarian power bowl includes edamame, mango & vegetables served on top of brown & red rice, red quinoa and black barley with red wine vinaigrette topped with dried cherries & sunflower seeds. Um hello, did you read that?! What an amazingly delicious ingredient list!
Often when I’m working from home, I just drift aimlessly into the kitchen and make whatever is quick and easy. There is no real plan and I’m typically short on time. I can look back and see that it’s often a time when I derail from my healthy eating plan and then later on have regrets.
We’ll no more! This veggie bowl was sweet and filling. And I loved having a warm meal on a cold January day. The best part was how fast it was. In under 5 minutes I had a healthy option ready to eat. I’m affectionately calling it the “resolution keeper”.
If you’re looking for a way to stay on track by eating healthy, I highly recommend the Power Bowls line from Healthy Choice, you can even shop them online! I have a busy few months and these are a game changer. I can’t wait to try the other combinations and actually keep my resolutions this year!

That looks like the perfect meal for when I’m rushed. It’s well-balanced, and it looks so tasty. That can’t be said for a lot of frozen meals.
I saw these in the store but haven’t tried them yet. Each has an ingredient in it I’ve never tried, so I’ve been scared to take the plunge!
I hadn’t seen these yet but every look delicious! I love a quick and easy meal that I can feel good about eating. I want to try the turkey sausage and egg white scrabble!
Make that *scramble
Eating healthier is one of my goals for this year! Thanks for sharing helpful hacks about it!
I have been eyeing them for lunch, but had not noticed the breakfast ones. I yet have to try them, but if they can help me stay on track of my health goals I’m game to giving them a try.
I love this. Quick and easy, delicious and healthy! What more can you ask for? I have to stock up on these power bowls if I need to stay on the path to health and well being
I am definitely going to have to check these out. They look like a great addition to all that I am doing to try and lose weight this year. I have 40 pounds to go!
I’m wondering if the Mango & Edamame can be served cold, like a salad.
