Healthy Snack Idea: Ruby Rocket’s


Now that it’s back to school time, I’m on the lookout, more than ever, for easy, healthy snack ideas. So, when I got the opportunity to try out Ruby Rocket’s, I was super excited about the prospect of a healthy frozen treat. The only question was…would it taste good? Ruby Rocket’s are frozen veggie and fruit pops…yes, I said veggie. Each pop is non-GMO, contains healthy probiotics, is less than 35 calories and has no added sugar, sweeteners, artificial colors or flavors.




I tackled the Galaxy Green first. Galaxy Green pops are made with kiwi, avocado, spinach and lemon. It may sound like an unusual combination, but let me tell you…it’s mighty tasty. In fact, I could have eaten a few of them all on their own, but I decided to make the treat even more fun by popping the pops into masons filled with raspberry lemonade. The flavors really complemented one another and it was a fun, easy snack that I’m sure you and  your kiddos will love!

    My favorite summertime snack (besides frozen grapes) is frozen bananas and a little almond milk in the blender – banana ice cream! Those fruit and veggie pops looks like my kind of snack. I haven’t seen these yet. I will definitely be on the lookout.

    This is a really great way to trick kids into getting some extra fruits and vegetables into their diets. No kid can resist a freeze pop!

    Somethings that seem like an odd combination can turn out pretty well. Like broccoli salad. Who would think grapes, bacon and brocolli go together? But they do really well. Looks very healthy!

    I am so happy – honestly! My son and hubs are addicted to snacking on popsicles and these are going to make me feel a lot better about it 🙂

    Those look and sound delicious!! I went to an even a few weeks ago where they had popsicles in a glass of champagne! So yummy!! I love that there is a healthy way to do that idea too! So fun!!

    Those look really delicious. One of my favorite snacks is super easy. It’s just plain Greek yogurt, some sugar free koolaid powder mixed in, and fresh blueberries or strawberries. Yum.
