Monday Mingle: Maxi Skirts for Spring
Remember this printed maxi skirt from last summer? Well, I’m still loving it just as much this year! There is something about a bold, dramatic print that always makes me happy. And if you’ve been around these parts a time or two, you’ve probably noticed that I have a thing for maxi anything. Haha! Maxi skirts and dresses are just so darn comfy and universally flattering in my book. I know some of you fellow height challenged girls may think you can’t wear maxis, but that is so not the case. You just have to find the right maxi! It’s all about an elongating pattern. Now that we’ve got that straight, let’s talk about maxi skirts for spring!
So, the question is…How will I style my maxis this spring? Last year I was all about the flat sandals, but ever since I fell in love with a pair of Ugg metallic cork wedges, I’ve been enjoying the extra inches they give me, so I just might be rockin’ some more height this season.
Plus, I’ll forever be in love with seventies influenced looks, so you can bet wedges and maybe even a pair of platform sandals or two will be finding they’re way into the rotation.
