Monday Mingle: Riding Boots and Animal Prints
When I was in Annapolis a couple weeks ago, we had the most beautiful weather. I even managed to not wear a coat during the day some of the time. An oversized knit sweater, faux leather leggings and riding boots kept me just warm enough. Not to go off topic, but can we talk about how gorgeous Megan’s backyard is? My riding boots look like they were made to be worn there no? So much beautiful land…We don’t get that here in Florida, but I digress…
I wore this look for a lovely afternoon filled with bestie bonding, baby holding, lunching and even a DIY or two. It’s totally comfy, yet still stylish enough for this fashion lovin’ BonBon Rose Girl. I’ve been having a pastel moment as of late, and as soon as I saw this pink knit sweater at Nordstrom, I knew I had to have it. I’m all about fashion contradictions and I love the juxtaposition of something feminine like a pastel and with edgier elements like faux leather and animal prints! An on trend animal print bucket bag and a layered chain necklace finished off my girly, yet edgy outfit. Is anyone else still big time crushin’ on bucket bags? I can’t get enough of them! And you know how much I heart animal prints…
