What’s In My Diaper Bag 2.0

Packing a diaper bag so that it has everything you need, yet doesn’t weigh a ton, is tough. Having two kids or more and it’s a true art form. So I thought it was high time for a What’s In My Diaper Bag 2.0 video. After all my boys have grown and are now 2 and 5, which means a lot has changed since my first diaper bag video when Max was just a teeny infant.

First let’s break down the situation. Yes, this is one of my favorite summer diaper bags. I don’t change my diaper bags out too often but I love the nautical vibe of this Stella and Dot bag from about 2 years ago. Although with two kids, I still stand by the comfort of a backpack diaper bag. It also allows me to hold hands in parking lots with the infamous mom death grip.

While Max is two, he is not potty trained (yes hoping for that day to come soon!) so we still need to have diapers on hand. And while Jake is 5 and totally good to go in that area, we do have our fair share of spills so in general, this diaper bag is my life line.

What’s In My Diaper Bag 2.0

Here are my essential items for my diaper bag with a 2 and 5-year-old in tow.

  • Changing essentials for my 2-year-old
  • Clothing in case of spills and accidents
  • Small pack with bandages and first aid essentials (they are forever scraping knees)
  • 2 little cars for playing
  • Sippy cup with water
  • My own wallet, keys, phone and lipstick
  • Snacks, snacks and more snacks! These two don’t stop eating!

You guys know I love Beech-Nut so much and we’ve been trying and loving several of their new toddler options. The Vanilla Quinoa Crispies are a favorite and have a great flavor and texture. Their cereal puffs and yogurt melties are also a hit! I may also have been known to eat the Strawberry Fruity Oat Bars myself in a pinch, ha!
