You know what spells Friday night right? An easy fall cocktail, that’s what! And this apple cider mimosa recipe is just the kind of drink I’m talking about.
I don’t know about you, but the second we turned the calendar page to October, I was ready to start watching all my favorite scary movies. In fact, we’re planning on turning on Halloween this weekend after the kids go to bed.
A grownup scary movie, deserves a grownup drink if you ask me. Frankly, it’s the only way I can get through that kind of flick.
I’m kind of a scaredy pants. And the hubs is kind of the same. Bwah! So, we don’t watch thrillers very often. Don’t get me wrong, I’m game for a suspenseful movie, but super scary? I only indulge in that kind of thing this time of year.
Hence, why the original Halloween version will be gracing our screen soon. It’s scary without being too gory. I can handle it…barely. Haha!
So, what kind of fall cocktail goes with Halloween? Apple something of course. You can never go wrong with apple drinks in my book.
You may have have seen our apple cider mimosas in the past. They are our most popular fall drink ever, but this one may give our fall mimosa a run for its money!
I think it’s the spiced rum in it. The rum goes SO well with the apple cider!
Let me ask you a question…Are you as obsessed with apple cider as I am? Read on for your new favorite apple cider drink!
You can find out the exact measurements and how to make this delicious apple cocktail at the bottom of the post, but here’s what you’ll need:
How to Make Apple Mojitos
Ingredients:
spiced rum
apple cider
simple syrup
soda water
apple slices
mint sprig
Now do those ingredients spell killer cocktail or what?! I’m all for most mojitos in the way I’m all in with apple cocktails. But put the two together and WOW I’m really in love!
Don’t worry, I’m going to get to how to make my new favorite fall drink, but first let’s talk about what to eat with them shall we?
I have one word for you CHEESE. Apples and cheese are a match made in heaven. The only question is would you prefer your snack to be savory or sweet? Never fear! I have ideas for both!
If savory cheese snacks or your jam, how about whipping up our smoked salmon spread? It’s made with cream cheese and goes great with crackers or a crusty baguette.
On the sweet treat front, our cinnamon baked brie recipe is perfect. Just sub out the cinnamon pears for cinnamon apples. It’s that simple!
