One of my very favorite things about the holidays is the celebrating. I mean every day is an excuse to whip up a festive cocktail or two in my book. Holiday parties, happy hours and Hallmark holiday movie binges are just a few opportunities to get mixing. Yep. They’re ALL drink worthy occasions in my book. Bwah! And if you’ve been around these parts a time or two, you know that we have plenty of holiday drink ideas to choose from. Well, get ready to add another holiday cocktail to the must make list my friends…

Today’s featured drink is a cranberry mimosa cocktail! Now, I have seen various renditions of this classic holiday drink, but I love the extra kick that the Triple Sec gives this particular recipe! And it’s the perfect Christmas cocktail to serve at a holiday party. Or even if you aren’t hosting your own party this year, maybe you can bring the fixins’ or this drink as a hostess gift! I sure wouldn’t mind that kinda gift. Haha!

I certainly do, but I digress…Let’s get down to brass tacks and talk about how to make this cranberry mimosa recipe shall we? I promise that it is super simple, like most of the cocktails we serve up around here!

How to Make Cranberry Mimosas

Serves 1:

Prep time: 3 minutes

Ingredients:

Cranberry juice cocktail
Champagne or Prosecco
Triple Sec
Fresh cranberries
Spring of Rosemary for garnish

Directions:

1. Add 3-4 oz. of chilled cranberry juice to your glass.

2. Add a splash of Triple Sec, or any orange liqueur, then finish with 3 oz. of your favorite champagne or sparkling wine.

3. Finally, garnish your cranberry mimosa with fresh cranberries and a sprig of fresh rosemary.

See? I never steer you wrong when I say something is easy. I can already see this gorgeous holiday cocktail being served up as the signature drink at your next holiday get together. It has tres chic bar cart written all over it, don’t you think? And speaking of holiday gatherings, this would be perfect for a holiday brunch too! 

I try host a holiday brunch for my family every Christmas and you can bet that they will be sipping on cranberry mimosas this year! It’s one of my favorite holiday traditions and now I have a new favorite drink to add to our Christmas brunch!

This easy cranberry mimosa would be perfect to serve at a holiday party or Christmas brunch!

Prep Time 2 minutes
Cook Time 3 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 oz. Cranberry juice cocktail
  • 3 oz. Champagne or Prosecco
  • 1 tsp. Triple Sec
  • 5 Fresh cranberries
  • 1 Spring of Rosemary for garnish
