How to Wear Frayed Hem Jeans

An easy way to wear one of our favorite fashion trends, frayed hem jeans. They’re great for both dressy looks and more casual outfits like ours!

I’ve been wanting to try the frayed hem jeans look for a while now, so when I received a KUT from the Cloth pair in my latest Stitch Fix delivery, I was super psyched!

I’ve seen and loved them on both Nicole from Momtrends and Jolynne from Jolynne Shayne, so I had been somewhat looking for a pair of frayed hem jeans myself, but being that I haven’t had a ton of time to go shopping lately, it was great to be able to have a pair delivered right to my door with very little effort.

Three cheers for Stitch Fix! They made updating my wardrobe so much easier with one box chock full of fun, on-trend goodies. But I digress, …I’ll be sharing the rest of my loot later. In the meantime, let’s talk about those frayed hem jeans!

How to Wear Frayed Hem Jeans – Great for Dressy Looks and Casual Outfits

This particular pair of jeans is the kind of denim you can easily dress up or down, which is always a hit with me. For today’s featured look, I went the casual route because I got a killer new pair of kicks from J. Jill that I just had to bring out to play.

The Superga Carnation-Print Sneakers are definitely going to be go-tos in my spring style…and my winter style too for that matter! The vibrant floral print adds a pop of fun to any look and they were the perfect pair of foot candy to style with my new frayed-hem jeans and cozy funnel neck pullover that I also got in my January Stitch Fix order!

You can bet all three of these new scores are going to be worn on repeat. The pullover is oh so comfy and light enough for early spring wear, while the frayed hem jeans are begging to be rocked with a dressier date night type look next. And those sneakers will surely add some legitimacy to my school drop off ensembles. Haha!

Those sneakers are so much fun, I need a pair. And what a cute and cozy sweatshirt, too.

I am all about the new styles of denim and love to mix and match them with so many different accessories. Currently I am loving seriously distressed denim, but the frayed denim is fun too!

I had no idea frayed hems were a thing now. I kinda like it. I know when I used to serve, I would get in trouble for my hems being frayed but that was because I am short and the pants were too long haha

I’m loving those tennis shoes. I love the sweater but I hate things on my neck so I would probably feel a bit constricted .

Your frayed hems are perfect because they don’t look raggedy but achingly cool! I love the floral (of course) trainers they are so cute and probably comfier than the heels I seem to sport!

These are really cute and they are paired great with the shoes. The only downside, is that because I am 5’2″ by jeans tend to bunch at the bottom so not sure these would work for me

I’m so short that all of my pants have had frayed hems for years! LOL. I’ve never been able to find a pair that didn’t drag the ground.

I wear a lot of frayed hem jeans – not necessarily as a fashion statement, but more because I am so short I need to have everything tailored. With jeans I tend to just cut them, and then they are all frayed 🙂 Love this look!

Love those sneakers. I’ve tried on a pair of the frayed hem jeans and just couldn’t bring myself to purchase them. I just don’t look good in skinny jeans when you can see the ankle. Sounds weird I know…

I’ve been toying around with this trend. I have short legs so much of my jeans end up frayed at some point. These do look like the length might work. I’m also love the embroidered jeans I’ve seen. Not sure which I want to add to my collection.
