Those of you who know me in real life know that I’m about to finish up physical therapy for a muscle strain that I sidelined me last fall. Considering that I’ve been on a running break for over seven months, I’m a tad bit excited to hit the pavement again.
That being said, the weight I’ve put on this spring thanks to all that sitting around at home time is not going to make my running goals easy. My knees need every advantage I can give them. That’s why I decided to try out Always Eat After 7 PM.
Intermittent fasting isn’t new to me. I’ve tried it before and I had a decent amount of success with it. There was just one problem. Many of the intermittent fasting plans that I’ve seen ask you not to eat in the evening.
And that, my friends, is a problem for this girl. I’m HUNGRY after 7pm. That’s a fact. I have no problem skipping breakfast, but ask me to eat a tiny dinner so eating the bulk of my calories occurs early in the day, well, that’s a tough ask.
How Do You Choose an Intermittent Fasting Program?
I tackled the question, is eating at night bad, in my first post about this book, but why don’t we hear about it in the author’s words?
So, who is the author? Bestselling author, Joel Marion, is a fitness expert and nutritionist debunking the myths underlying traditional dieting and offers a simple, highly effective weight loss program.
His Always Eat After 7PM program makes dieting easy and eliminates 90% of reasons for resistance…
Q: You’re a six-time best selling author, what is different about this book compared to your others?
A: Although many of the concepts are similar, the biggest difference is that you don’t have to deprive yourself of your favorite foods. You don’t have to deal with the burden of eating every few hours. And you don’t have to skip the carbs at dinnertime or avoid eating before bed.
Q: How difficult is the Always Eat After 7 PM plan to follow?
A: It’s not. And that’s exactly why I wrote the book. While any diet is never truly easy, it can be more enjoyable and much easier to adhere to when you understand how Always Eat After 7pm works because it caters to our bodies natural instincts.
