Have you ever met a mimosa you didn’t like? Yeah, me either. That’s why I’m pretty sure you’re going to love this orange champagne cocktail recipe too! It’s similar to a mimosa, but different enough to impress your party guests. Not having a party? No worries. Serve up brunch to your honey this weekend. That’s a perfectly good reason to make our orange champagne cocktail recipe too! Frankly, I’m a big fan of not waiting for a special occasion to make something special.
Everyday life always warrants a treat and that’s just what this drink is. It’s such a treat. Just ask my family. It’s my Nonnie’s recipe and she was serving it at family functions long before I was born. It’s definitely stood the test of time. I’ve loved working it into my menus! Using a family recipe always makes me feel connected to my loved ones. It even brings me back to those who are no longer with us, like my Nana, who I’m pretty sure gave the recipe to my Nonnie. But I digress…Let’s get to that recipe! You don’t need many ingredients.
1 3/4 cup chilled champagne
14 oz. chilled gingerale
1 cup chilled orange juice
sliced strawberries for garnish
Combine all the ingredients in a pitcher. Serve nice and cold with a few strawberry slices. Easy peasy!
More Winter Cocktails
Ok, so when will you be whipping up our orange champagne cocktail recipe? Soon right? I knew it! I know you love a good drink as much as we do, so I thought I’d share a few of our favorite winter cocktails below. Remember, any day is a good to bring back cocktail hour? Bwah! And as an added bonus, check out our friend Krystal’s Frosted Cranberry Cocktail. It’s as pretty as it is tasty! Frankly, all these drinks are a sight to behold. Like our hostess guru, Reese Witherspoon, we’re big fans of keepin’ it pretty over here at Momtrends. When we can that is. Sometimes we just crack open a beer. There’s no shame in our sometimes hot messy game. Just sayin’.
